  2. Wow, that's a mouthful of questions!  I'll try to get them all. ;0)

You are wise to plan ahead.  Your parents will be the ones who have the most influence over your schooling, but you can help by getting the best information you can.

Many good universities are happy to have homeschoolers!  I don't know much about the dorm issue as I haven't looked into it much, but look at which colleges you'd like to attend and then at housing options.  I don't think you have to stay in dorms if you have other housing options.

Start looking at the info on high school (1) home schooling to help you plan your course.  Do you know what career field you are looking into?  That really plays an important role in the course you take.  ABeka is a great curriculum, you may also want to add college level courses (like at a Jr. College) or AP Classes.

Also look through (2) the lists of colleges that admit home schoolers to see which you may be interested in attending.

Start working on more than your GPA now.  Extracurricular activities, and community involvement are important to admissions too.  They like to see well rounded and impactful students.

You sound very motivated and that is one of the first things you see in successful people.  Match your work ethic to your motivation and you will do wonderfully! :0)

    Blessings!
