Hi everyone, I recently recovered from an eating disorder(anorexia and over exercise), I ended up gaining a ton of weight, more than before my eating disorder. I am now in a unhealthy weight rang for my height, my blood pressure and my sugar are high, i have swollen ankles, and knee and back pain from all the extra weight. My doctor suggested that I lose weight, but I have heard stories that it is hard if possiable for some people to lose weight after an E.D, and if not how can I lose the weight the healthy way?

  1. well, the weight gain was from your body being in starvation for such a long time. if you're overweight now, you'll be able to lose weight. your body was just like "OMG, FOOD!!!!" so it stored all of it so you wouldn't die. if you go on a HEALTHY diet plan (consult your doctor, please!) you'll lose the extra weight and get to a healthy weight. good luck honey.

  2. You should aim to lose no more than 2 lbs a week, any more and you've got yourself yet another dis-order. Just eat healthy food, keep your calories to around 1500-2000 per day, exercise no more than 1 hour per day and that it really. Simple huh?
