Will i be allowed to take a Carry-on bag plus a regular school back pack for ex: Nike or JanSport on airplane?

I have Carry-on luggage but wasnt sure if airport will allow me to carry a regular backpack on the plane with me as well.

Yes you are allowed these both but the backpack must be stored underneath the seat

maybe, but i dont think so. The backpack could be counted as a regular bag. Its obviously not a purse, briefcase or laptop bag (those 3 things are counted as personal items and you can bring one of those along with 1 carry on luggage on the plane)

maybe you could put the stuff inside your carry on luggage and take it out once you get past security (and stuff the backpack in there too) or turn that piece of luggage into a checked in luggage and carry on the backpack instead. (i'm just giving some ideas that probably would cause less trouble for you....)
