i have no problems with any of my fellow co-workers. however, about 3 weeks ago this girl laura who had been working there for about 3 years before i started, who had been training in baton rouge is now back and i've despised her since, today i was traing the soon to be FOH manager, & usually one has to endure classes/tests before they let you do this it's over my head why they left this up to me, and that is a whole other story in itself. i mean this guy is off his rocker he's so torpid and he's actually a lot like this girl laura, i have absolutely no problem with peoples awareness that i loathe her and prefer is she'd leave me be, well i had it out with her today she must of given me this 30 minute speech on how i shouldn't stack the glasses or put chairs at the end of tables, or point at objects, & rambling on & on over **** no one cares about, both of them are kiss asses trying to pucker up to impress the big guy so that one day they can live in this smug bubble of superiority

  1. Your story is a bit hard to follow, but in a nutshell I'd say if your manager is telling you Laura is a valuable employee, you need to learn to work with her or risk losing your job.

  2. Uh, most of what you've written makes no sense, so it's hard to figure out what the problem is.

Never "have it out with" coworkers.

If it's her personality you have a problem with, that's irrelevant to the working world, keep it to yourself.

If it has something to do with work, then you should talk to her supervisor, or yours, or some other approapriate person. You don't have the right to tell co-workers how to be.

  3. From someone who was in management for years:

I would fire you in a heart beat.  Your bitterness creates problems for everyone who must work with you.

Look for a job where you do not have to interact with others.

Also, go to school and get an education or your life will continue to be miserable.

  4. thats the name of the game baby. sometimes work competition can make it a cruel environment, but thats business! you've always got to keep a step ahead of everyone else. i can't tell if you're going to get fired or not, probably not, just go in to work positive and work harder.  if it makes you feel better, i left my last job because my manager started coming on to me, im 21 she was 28, and when i told her no, her attitude changed and she started making me do more work. i guess i should have hit it o_O

  5. Thats a very long sentence. There are always kiss-asses in the work place and the most you can do is just deal with it.

  6. I really don't understand the question.
