Will i be missing out if I dont do a Gondola ride in Venice?

  1. Riding a gondola is an unique experience to see Venice. However, if the problem is money (they ask 80Euros for the first 40 mintues, max 6 people) then use a "traghetto", a boat similar to gondola but shorter which many Venetian people use daily. You will be able to cross the Canal Grande for less than 1Euro.

    If you are scared about the ride, usually it's safe but the water is really dirty so I don't blame you.


  2. YESS YOU WOULD

    if you are afraid of heights than you should skip it, but venice is beautifal and i recomend going if you get the chance.

    I went on one last year and it was amazing.

    In most situations when they say try not to look down, this time you should.

    And besides, everything is completely safe..

  3. No . You can walk all over Venice and see the sites that way. A waste of money if you ask me.
