I've recently finished uni and i'm living at home with my family. I would like to persuit a career in the police or the NHS, but i am living with my older brother who has been convicted and served time for a serious drug offence. Police policy states that "if an applicant is living with a person with convictions for violence or dishonesty or is regularly in contact with the police for offences they must be rejected.". Does this mean me?It seems so unfair that i can be penalised for another persons actions, particularly because I was away at uni when the offence happened and he has not reoffended and is very unlikely to.
