  1. In a way. You can buy bottled water all you'd like. As long as the empty bottle finds it's way to the recyclables.=]

  2. Plastic bottles do not break down in land fills. I would suggest the britta filter it makes your water taste great and it comes with a jug so you can leave your water in the fridge. Paper plates and cups use up trees. Not using them will help the planet.  Go to Care2.com its a great ebsite commited to saving the planet.

  3. I would say it is. Even if your bottles end up being recycles, it takes energy (fossil fuels) to transport, sort, melt, reprocess, re-pack, and re-ship your recyclables. They don't just fill them up again and put them on the shelf. It's a whole lot more "green" just to re-use a good water bottle.

Besides, bottled water is the biggest scam on the planet. Water should be free. Emergency water stocked up in your basement is one thing, but buying those little pint sized containers (about one mouthful) in packs of sixty is freaking ridiculous.

Paper is biodegradable, but if you put it in with your garbage, its never going to breakdown. You could try composting them. But still, why not just use reusable plates? I would rather my trees grow into nicer, more permanent products, like lumber, than something disposable.

  4. yea just make sure your tap water doesnt have poison in it like fluoride or xanax

  5. It requires oil dependency to produce the plastic bottles and then the bottles go into a landfill. Don't use plastic bottles, don't microwave plastic and don't drink bottled water.

Bottled water is a commercial opportunity that wouldn't be allowed if all were considered. The water is filtered and filtered until it is in effect dead water. Your body is electric and needs conductivity from electrically charged water, not bottled water that is more of an insulator.

Grow something and see the differences. Here is a link to a study a student did on water. You are made of water, pick one. http://www.thermoguy.com/pdfs/PiMag_Wate...

Your body uses and loses your weight divide by 2 in ounces everyday ..i.e...you weigh 150 lbs, you drink 75 ounces a day.

Try proper hydration for 30 days and see the difference it makes for your health.

  6. Yes the plastic bottle is recyclable,. However the carbon emissions needed to produce it will never be recouped.
