Will i blow my subs or can i make it work by turning down wattage?

300 watts max power (each)

150 watts rms (each)

1 sound storm amp

1600 watt max power

800 watt rms

  1. You are overdriving your subs.  yes they can be easily blown out this way.

  4. That is a huge mis-match.

    You can try to lower the volume.  But the first time you make a mistake (or one your friend's quick hands turn up the volume) it will blow - no doubt.

    ===

    Normally you want the speaker / subs to be about 25% or higher to be safe.

    So with a 600 watt amp should be matched with 800 watt speakers (or even higher).  You got it reversed.

  5. that sound storm amp isnt going to blow anything up. and p1's are more of a studio sub anyways your not going to get alot of hard base from them.
