Or will I need to buy some sort of bareMinerals liquid foundation first? ... Also, is Bare Escentuals and bare Minerals the same thing?

  1. no, it will work.

if you go to a special store to buy it,

they'll give you the perfect concealing powder for your skin.

it'll help a lot, because they'll show you how to use it well.

  2. It will for a few hours and then will make you look super greasy and shiny accentuating acne. Stay away from Bare escentuals- Bare Minerals (yes they are the same). They use a very cheap mineral called Bismuth oxychloride which is known to cause skin irritation, redness, rash, itching and acne. It will also wear off in a few hours and as I said it looks VERY shiny especially on oily skin. They also use cheap fillers like cornstarch and use chemical preservatives. I recomend Faerie Organic Minerals they cover acne really well (they have an amazing concealer that stays put) and due to a very expensive mineral they use called BORON NITRIDE (which is antibacterial and a skin perfector) it will help heal acne and your face will get better day by day while wearing it. They are all NATURAL and do not use cheap fillers. So many of my friends and family have switched from Bare Escentuals to Faerie Organic as they really beat bare by miles. They are also far more affordable so you can't go wrong. They have a free sample kit that you can try first (you just pay shipping like $5.99) and since you are trying to conceal acne I highly recommend their acne kit as well. I use it everyday. My face was pretty bad, I used everything in the past proactive, murad, rodan and fields, mary kay, drugstore brands etc.. nothing has worked like this. My face looks amazing. I'm sure using the makeup helps though. They have really great stuff. Check it out! http://www.faerieorganic.com

  3. yes, bare minerals and bare escentuals are the same thing.

but i'm not sure if it'll cover acne. i just ordered the starter kit a couple days ago and it should come in the mail this monday.

  4. Yes! It covers but you also need a little help with the bisque for a thicker powder. You will still see bumps but not discoloration.  I love it and it's made my skin better because I'm not the best at removing my makeup and this is natural so you can sleep in it.  Feels great like I'm not wearing anything. Abby

  5. i watch a lot of make up videos on youtube.com. why dont you go onto everydayminerals.com and order a sample kit. its free but u have to pay 3.09 for shipping and handling. u get 3 foundation, 1 blush and 1 concealer. Try to get INTENSIVE formula for your foundation, thats like the maximum coverage.

bare minerals and bare escentuals are different

  6. it is the same thing and it will cover acne.... i tried the primer stuff you are talking about and did not see a difference...

    HOWEVER

i really do not like that brand of makeup. it caused irritation to my skin when i sweat, and it makes you look shiny because of the bizmuth filler they use, btw of which is not a natural mineral.

i HIGHLY suggest ordering from this website instead- http://www.everydayminerals.com

their ingrediants are 100% natural, no bizmuth. and covers just as good as i.d. best of all, their prices are WAY cheaper. they also offer a FREE sample of their makeup inwhich you get to choose 3 foundation samples, a blush and a concealer, all very generous amounts which has lasted me over a month already. all you have to pay is shipping which was $3. you really should try it!

  7. I love that product, i startedusing it when i was 12, and have been using it for five years, so does my mom, my 3 aunts, and my 2 sisters, it is the best, we all have different skin, i have acne like i am assuming you do and it works great, if you have a bad blemish simply use a concealer brush with a some extra powder, itsthe best product i have ever used, its the only product i will ever use

  8. Bare Escentuals is the company that owns Bare Minerals, so yes, it is one and the same.  I cannot wear Bare Minerals as it really aggrivates my acne.  It contains an ingredient called Bismuth, and after researching it, I found that a lot of women have the same issue.

I am using KmS Mineral Essentials.  It is bismuth-free and has really helped my skin clear up.  I am using the light bisque concealer under my foundation which does a great job in covering my red/blotchy skin and acne.
