  1. you really need to go see someone and maybe you will have to take meds for awhile to help you but there is help to make you feel better, seems like your body needs a rest, ask your dr about paxil it is really great and its not addictive, get help before it gets worse.

  2. If you are having suicidal thoughts that you may act on, go to the ER!  I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder nine years ago, so I know what your going through (believe me).  You need to take that step to making yourself well and go to a psychiatrist.  They will ask you a bunch of questions about your past and present, then determine the best course of action to take.  It will probably involve therapy and medication.  If you want to get well, do exactly what the doctors tell you to do and take your meds everyday.  I wish you the best of luck, God bless, and always remember that it can't rain all the time.  =o)

  3. find something you love to do...and become a happier person. if u find something you love you will be more energized and meet ppl you love to hang out with. if its really serious, get help

  4. Depression is all about friends and family. Be safe in a safe place. Start over and look for a person who believes like you do.

  5. YAY!

You just took a very good, big step towards overcoming your depression. Congrats! So YES, You can definitely overcome it!  I too am a sufferer, as is my boyfriend. For him it is a chemical imbalance that requires meds. He is completely normal and the meds dont change his personality at all. For me it's an emotional type so  I require therapy and talk talk talking.

The reason I point these things out is that I would like you to see that there are different types of depression and ways to overcome it. The next thing you need to do is call your doctor for an IMMEDIATE appointment. If your doctor blows you off ( like mine did for years until my bf recognized I had a problem) get a new doctor.

There are also a lot of toll-free numbers you can call just to talk. And you can say anything you want and feel anyway you want because they are there to listen and want to help you.

Keep up the good work you have started towards healing yourself. You should be proud to have come this far.

    Much love to you!

    Joe
