  1. no, i flew with thomson fly a week ago back form kephalonia and to. My mom is a 'larger lady' and she found the seat width fine, i was worried about it but it turned out to be fine. The legroom is a little crapt but for a shorthaul flight there is norhing to worry about, and good luck trying to get in the 'brace position' my head wouldn't have fitted between me and the seat infront.

Thomsosn fly and first choise are part of TUI so are the same company, there aircraft are in the same setup. the width of the seats is fine, just enjoy your holiday :)

  2. You should call first and ask about seat dimensions and their procedure for dealing with overweight people.

I'm a semi-large lady (230 pounds) and I fit in Coach seats just fine with some room to spare. So, I don't know if that helps you out any.

I have read that some airlines make you buy a 2nd seat if you do need one so, it is best to ask beforehand and save yourself a potentially embarrassing situation.

    Good luck!

  3. they'll just strap you to a wing and put an elephant on the opposite one!

    you'll be fine

  4. it is possible to buy 2 seats if your personal space can not occupy one or on the other hand you could buy a blue bike

  5. My dad is around 400lbs. When ever we fly we get the first row seats which are bigger and have a lot more leg room. You just have to call ahead of time and request them, they don't cost extra. Or you could always upgrade to business or first class. They have TONS of space! I flew first class to Italy and London last summer and we had beds! I would call and explain your concerns before hand. It can't hurt!

  6. You can call the airlines directly and tell them about it. Then ask request them to give you a bulkhead seat. Bulkhead seats have more leg room and are generally more spacious.
