  1. No.  A curfew is for minors who are not accompanied by an adult.

Lindsey is wrong on both points in every area I have been that has a curfew, but curfew laws will vary.

    1.  Anyone over 18 is considered an adult, and legally responsible.

    2.  Curfew laws are NOT secondary in any area I have been in.  They can stop you without doing other offenses.

Kaino...I believe that you are from another country.  In the US, we would refer to that as house arrest.  the curfew that I believe was being asked about is a law where under a certain age (typically 18) you are not allowed to roam around without an adult after a specified time of night.  For example:  Nobody under 18 allowed on the streets after 11:00 pm.

  2. they have to be something to you

  3. you can only go out while on curfew if you are with your parents only.

it dnt matter if you are with sum1 over 18, it should say it on your bail forms, if it says under no circumstances then you cant go out at all.

dont break you bail aggrement or u will have a paid holiday from the government if you kno what i mean

  4. i dont thimk that would happen but only a legal adult has to have id on him to prove that hes 18 or over!

  5. Curfews are usually done by counties, cities or states so you are going to need to tell us where you live.

  6. As long as the adult that is with you is in some way responsible for you, and not just a friend who happens to be 18-19 years old.

Some places wont ticket you, but will turn you over to the custody of your parent or legal guardian.

  7. Curfew offenses are secondary offenses. Meaning, unless you do something wrong in the first place you won't get in trouble for curfew. But, unless that person over 18 is like 35 or a guardian or something, you probably will get cited for curfew,

  8. Ask a cop. (local to your area)

<edit> To whoever thumbs downed me, the laws vary from locality to locality. They're not all the same. The asker didn't say what state or city he or she lives in.

People ask questions from all over the world on this thing, so you don't even know what country he/she lives in.

Asker, nobody can answer this question based on the information, therefore the best thing to do is just call the local PD where you live.

  9. i don't think so

  10. Well different states have different laws but I'm pretty sure it's ok as long as you are with an adult.

  11. Depends on your laws there..some say as long as there is a responsible adult and others say just the parents.... on the way to work or on the way home from work..all curfew laws are different.
