  1. That is not going to work, you need proof that you were not breaking the law or the cop wrote the ticket wrong or something like that.

  2. Nah sorry to say they wont care what ur excuse is...everybody has an excuse and everybodys case is the most important. The courts hear stuff every and all day and quite frankly i doubt they will care. U will waste more money and time on fighting the ticket then you would if you just paid it.

  3. If you admit to wrongdoing, it will not be dismissed.  I know in my part of Cali that would probably just get you beat harder by any stray peace officers.  (My region is fairly notorious for such behavior.  It's why we're all so dang well behaved - sheer terror.) However, if you keep your mouth shut and the cop doesn't show up for court it most likely will be thrown out.  If s/he doesn't remember writing you the ticket than it may also be thrown out even if the cop does show.

  4. NO THEY DONT CARE

  5. If the cop didn't stop writing the ticket when you told him that, then don't waste your time going to court and just pay the ticket.

  6. If your in NY city forget it.Pay the ticket. You don't stand a chance.

  7. Look at it as a tax Which it is

  8. I don't know how much Court Costs are in NY but I'll bet they love collecting them from  people with no legitimate reason for contesting a ticket. You should have parked legally, got your Grandmother to the curb, and then got your car and picked her up.

  9. Why dod people constantly come on here trying to get out of breaking the law.

Take responsibility for your actions and pay the fine.  Next time don't park somewhere that you shouldn't.

  10. No.

  11. I have been to Queens.  I have also sat in some of the court proceedings, so in answer to your question, I don't think it will be dismissed.  It is generally not a question of why you broke the law but DID you break the law.
