Will i get tax as i have two jobs even though im in Full time education at A level?

i will start working for 2 different shops this week even though im in full time education will i get taxed as i have 2 jobs? Is there another form i have to fill other than p45?

  1. If you earn more than £6,035 (new personal allowance from September) between April 2008 - April 2009 you will have to pay tax. It doesn't matter how many jobs you have.

    However it can be pretty complicated to work out if you have two jobs. More likely you will end up being over-taxed and have to claim some back than being under-taxed but ring your local tax office (look up on HMRC website) and discuss it with them.

    I'd imagine in full time education you'll not earn that much so you shouldn't have to worry.

    If you earn more than £5,435 you should pay 11% national insurance on the excess.
