My boyfriend is banned from the U.S for trying to live here without a Visa. Next week i plan on going to Canada to visit him. But i'm scared i will not be let in, i think they may assume were trying to get married in Canada ( which were not ). Does anyone think it will be fine an i'll be let through or be sent home?

  1. Assuming that your boyfriend is living in Canada legally then there should be no problem with visiting him.  Like stated previously all you have to state is that you are visiting a friend, you do not have to go into detail about your relationship.

  2. You're an American trying to visit your BF in Canada?  I don't think it'll be a problem.  Immigration doesn't keep track of whose dating who - they'll probably think you're another tourist.  If they ask the reason for your trip say you're sightseeing or visiting a friend.  So long as you're not flagged there shouldn't be a problem.

  3. I went to Canada last month and they just checked to see that

    I had a return ticket.
