  1. Hopefully not to long but you should pull your act together.

  2. In America you would go to jail until you posted bond or were let out by a magistrate.

We also have payment plans for people who owe fines.  Another thing is if you don't pay your fines, you are in contempt of court.  That can be another criminal charge in itself...

  3. It sounds like the police have a warrant for your arrest, in which case you'll go to the cells. Your time there will depend on the judge, probably overnight and the hearing first thing in the morning. Before police go looking for people they usually issue out a court summons, did you get one? If yes, why did you ignore it? The best thing to do would be to go to your local police station and explain yourself.

  4. Just go directly to the court and deal with the problem.  They would prefer your money to jail time.  But avoiding the problem will simply make things worse.  Talk to the court about a payment schedule or community service.

  5. You could offer £5 a week for your fines..The no licence and insurance is more serious, prob get bit of gaol, but if first offence and you can explain why sending you to prison would be harm full to society and you, together with a resolve you will never act this way again, you might get off..Some people do,depends on judge..It will be a question of do they trust you on bail,if you go straight on remmand or not,,

  6. There's a strong chance you won't go to jail for the non-payment but here's tip. Hand yourself in at about 7am on a weekday, that way you'll be presented before court that day and won't spend a night in police cells.

  7. There is no hard and fast rule. Depends entirely on the Magistrate who you come up in front of on the day! Unlike the US you can't pick the terms of your sentence. If a UK court sends you down your straight inside unless you have been bailed for sentence.

  8. A few years back I had a court summons for an unpaid council tax bill (about £300) which I ignored. The police had a warrant for my arrest but I always avoided them when they came knocking. I was worrying for no real reason because as soon as I contacted the council and offered to pay my arrears, the warrant/court summons was dropped.

The police aren't bailiffs but they can and will put you in a cell when they eventually catch up with you. Only a judge can determine your sentence so if the police do get to you, expect a day or less in prison while they sort out the hearing date. To avoid jail-time altogether, take your head out of the sand, contact whoever you owe the money to and offer some payment.

  9. hand yourself in it will go ma lot better for you in court than if they have to drag you there , and that will happen sooner rather than later

  10. In our country, you wouldn't o to jail for this sort of offence; but it would be very good if such people like you did.

It would make sure driving behaviour that endangerous peoples lives is significantly reduced.

    Snow Man

  11. Why not pay the fines and stay out of jail?  If you don't have the money see if they will make a payment plan for you.

  12. The only thing I suggest is this,

Get a driving license, get some insurance, and get yourself down to the local police station, and if you can not afford the fine's in full, agree to pay so much a week.

You have commited an offence, just put your hand up and admit it.

Trust me, talk to the police, do not avoid them, they will try to help, if you are honest with them. Any problems, get a solicitor, but do not think it will come to that. Take care, and get yourself to your local station now.

  13. Sounds like the coppers have a means warrant for your arrest.

If they catch you, then they will ask you on the spot to pay what you owe, if u cant then you re nicked.

The court will then more than likely ask why you've not paid and will then give you a bit more of a fine.

If you persistently don't pay then you will go to the big house, for this level of fine you would be looking at a day or two in pokey.

    Get it paid.

  14. You have a criminal mind....I sugest you go to College so you can learn to s***w the establishment better...with out getting caught or let others pay your fines.  In the name of JESUS  &  OBAMA I bless you. AMEN.
