Will i have a problem getting a Green Card having tresspasing missdemanor on my record!

I was wrongly arrested for petty theft and then that chargje was dissmesed and i was chargjed with tresspasing which this was 3 years a go and currently my case in a process of beeing exchpunched however would this be a problem in getting a green card!

  1. I don't think it should be; however, if you have any doubts, it would be a good idea to consult an immigration attorney.


  2. There is no need to get the conviction expunged. A conviction for trespassing is not a crime involving moral turpitude.

    A conviction for something which is not a crime involving moral turpitude almost never creates a ground of inadmissibility. There are a few exception, I know, but your conviction is not one of them.

    It would not stop you from qualifying for a green card.
