If government offices are closed you can stay home.  Just call in the morning and there should be a recorded message letting you know if court is open or closed.

In our state there is a number you call to see if your number has been called so you know in advance that you have to show up. Try calling again (if this is the same there) to see if the message has been updated. Otherwise, call early in the morning. Most jurors have to report after staff have already been there a while so there should be someone to answer your call.

I am an attorney. The courthouses have announced that they will be closed.  No courthouse - No jury duty.
