Will i have to pay more when i text my friends form overseas when i have their area code?

going to europe this summer (yay!)

and i dont want to be awkward staying up late with the hotel computers if i can help it.

so will it cost more to text my friends when i am there, if i have their same area code and such?

If you love textin and can't live without it, then you should et an international plan. If you only need to do a few it can cost close to $.50 a message even if they're in the same area code. (I learned this the hard way)
