  1. Yes you wil have to wear glasses

  2. If the vision in your weaker eye is correctable, then you do not have a lazy eye.  This sounds more like strabismus (eye muscle problems) to me.  I have strabismus and occasionally experience double vision.  I was treated with patching, prism eyeglasses, two surgeries, and vision therapy.

The eyeglasses with the prism correction did not work for me.  They gave me horrible headaches and made me fell ill whenever I attempted to wear them.  The vision therapy was the most successful for me out of all the treatment options.  I still have some double vision, but it is much better than it was.

You may need to wear glasses when doing near work such as using the computer or reading to correct the long sighted eye, but that will depend on the degree of long sightedness you have and if your eye can accommodate for it.  I suggest that follow your doctor's instructions and the exercises prescribed to you.  It takes time to correct this type of problem and you may not notice any results for a few weeks, but the double vision will hopefully get better with time.

    Good Luck!
