  1. well try laughing all day you lose 3 1/2 calories when you laugh

  2. I suggest jogging the whole way because it keeps your heart rate at a reasonable level for burning calories. Along with running you need to eat well and stay active even when your not running. Hope this helps.

  3. to lose weight - you can get by just walking 10,000 steps a day. This is about 4.5 miles per day.

I did this daily and lost 3 pounds after 1 year. This is enough to make me healthier and get much lower blood pressure.

Combine this with weight lifting and a little stretching and your body will thank you for this

  4. if i were you i would do about 5miles at least.

  5. You will lose weight like that.. but you should up the distance if you can.

A great program for people who have been inactive is "Couch to 5K." It's a proven method used by many people to get into running shape. I used it myself after years of being inactive.

  6. You should try jogging slow enough that you jog the whole thing. Try to make it consistent. If it's too hard for you to jog the whole thing, increase to 2 miles and, if your at a track, fast run (not a sprint but fast) the straights and walk the curves, this'll definitely burn some calories. If it's not a track, just time yourself, 20 seconds fast, 20 seconds walk and continue to do that. After you get used to this increase the mileage or just start slow jogging the curves here and there. Try this method, hope it helps.
