  1. you might lose weight, however, you're also going to starve your body of nutrients.

Notice, there are no vegetables in your meal plan. You need as assortment of fresh vegetables, along with lean meats/proteins, low-fat or non-fat dairy, and keep the sugars to a minimum. As long as you do that, along with a mind toward portion control, you'll lose weight in a manner that's not harmful to your body.

Also, you shouldn't be losing more than 1-2 lb per week, 5lb per month. Weight loss is a process, if you go at it too quickly, you're more likely to put the weight back on, and harm your body.

  2. you should probably ask this in a different section......ham and jello are not vegetarian, and none of these foods are vegan.  you would get more help on dieting as an omnivore if you repost this in the general food & drink section.

  3. You can lose weight on a diet of nothing but lard if you ate it in small enough amounts.

However, you would still have a heart attack after you slimmed down.

What's good for your weight is not always good for your health.

  4. how much are you trying to lose? if you go on a vegitaren diet for a month, you'll lose some pounds. i'm one and i'm skinny. always been skinny.

  5. No!! The Ham has a ton of sodium that bloats you and keeps your metabolism from being efficient- try chicken and tuna (no lunch meat).  The Dairy- same thing- sorry to say.  The Jello not so bad, but in moderation, artificial sweetners also work against your metabolism.

Try a Low Sodium and Dairy Free Diet for the first 20lbs you have to lose- work out and eat only unprocessed foods (chicken, tuna, talapia, salad-oil n vinegar,  plain brown rice, natural peanut butter, Whole grain or multi grain bread- noe enriched, green veggies only, one half at a time-sweet potato, Wasa Brand Semame Crackers, only one diet soda and at least a gallon of water per day).  Once your Metabolism speeds up you will notice that you can add some dairy back in with out negative effects.

Carbs in the morning tapering off into the afternoon on work out days.  Non- workout days only one carb.  Eat six snacks per day- not three meals.  Small portions eating every two and a half hours- no carbs after 6pm- no food after 9pm.  If you want chocolate-buy a chocolate flavored protien shake-yum!!

It worked for me!!!! I am now a believer!!

    From a size 16 to a 4

  6. You can lose weight on snickers bars if you want to.

Simple formula:  calories burned >  calories consumed

  7. firstly dont diet

if u do u lose weight as ur fat cells shrink to nothing but multiples 2 or 3 times meaning when you stop you put on more weight

im male, 15, 70 kg and 32-33 inch waist

i normally do what i recommend below but not at moment as 2 busy studying

what you should do is scrap junk food

    some chocolate

    some sweets

    all processed food

and look up good carbs and eat those

    eg wholemeal bread

proper pasta (brown in bag not white)

fruit and veg are also good

    what i normaly do is

rise and shine at 7 eat breakfast

milk and frosties/shreaded wheat/sugar puffs and sometimes some fruit goes well with that

warining do not add more sugar lol

then i get bag ready for school and get ready eg hair

1/2 hour later so 7.30 i go and do a 45 min run

com home throw school uniform on and go 2 school

after i may jog before food never after and never after 6-7 and mentabolism keeps you awake

running and good eating are the best way to loose weight

    not diets

    diets are bad

why i say run in morning as metabolism starts and keeps working all day

    for lunch eat brown bread

    pasta

    or chicken

for supper some chicken or pasta

    or steak

    eggs are good

    and so is veg

this above solution is the best

    diets are bad

  8. Oh dear. Another dietary question. Let us begin...

First, let me say, it doesn't matter how much you weigh, as long as you are healthy. As a child and teenager, I was over weight. Now I am at a normal weight, perhaps slightly under, but it's because of health problems. I was healthier at my heavier weight than I am now. Remember- your body needs a lot of nutrients and vitamins to keep itself going. The living body does incredible things, but requires the proper fuel. Eating simply ham, cheese, jello, and yogurt *will not* provide you with what you need to live a happy, healthy life.

So I urge you, please do not go on one of these crazy diets. In addition to losing nutrition, even if you do lose weight, it's not fat that you'll be losing, it's muscle. This is because when your body is nutrient poor, it pulls nutrients from your body, and your muscles are what it breaks down, as they have a higher protein/nutrient level. So you'll be losing muscle. Also, as soon as you go off the diet, you will more than likely gain back twice the amount you lost, except it will be in fat, not muscle. That's because your body, having thought that it was starving because you weren't eating correctly, will start hoarding and storing the new foods you are consuming. But it gets stored as fat.

So as you can see, there is no upside to that kind of diet. Everything in moderation, dear. Eat plenty of lean protein (salmon, chicken), fruits, and veggies. Get your daily amount of dairy, but drink low fat milk (it has all the nutrition of whole milk, but less fat), and try limiting your cheeses, or use low fat cheese. Dried fruits and nuts are great for healthy snacking. A little fat here and there is good for you, just don't over do it. Everything should be in balance! And don't forget to get plenty of "happy exercise". I say happy exercise because it's important for your over all health to enjoy the activity you're taking part in, because if you hate it, you're likely not to do it, and mentally, it's not good for you. And your mental state is very closely tied to your physical state. So take care of yourself all around. :)

    Good luck, and stay healthy!

  9. SO long as you burn more calories then you eat. If you eat 3 pounds of ham half a block of cheese and a quart of jello and yogurt no.  but so long as you eat moderately and burn some extra calories you will
