Will i make friends in high school?

i went to the orentation at the high school with 5 of my friends and met some others up there. but i really want to make new friends, but everyone seems to know eachother...already. im not a nerd at all or anything im just not the popluar crowd. but no one likes them anywayss. will i make new friends? im nervous.

Just be yourself and be optimistic.

Be nice to everyone and the point is that, you don't need to introduce yourself to everyone you meet. I'm sure some of your teachers will assign seats, just get to know people in your table or next row. Its easy, don't worry, everyones just as nervous as you!

Be friendly to everybody and soon enough you'll find a group of people your comfortable with. This is basically a law of nature that people find a group they fit into - so don't have to be too nervous

its not that hard to make friends if your new to the whole school system like k-5 ten it is harder but all u have to do is talk to people u have something in commen with like people in your classes

Of course you will! What kind of question is that? Not everyone is the same. They have different personalities and sooner or later you're bound to find a group of new friends. So just hang in there and have fun in high school.

You will definitly make new friends. When i first started to attend high school, i thought everyone was going to pick on the freshmans, but really, that didnt happen, instead i made a lot of friends with the sophmore and junior classes. Hanging out with the popular crowd will most likely get you into some friendship problems. Most of the kids in a popular crowd will pressure you more, than your real friends. The one thing is you have to be nice and fun to be around with. I especially find it really easy to start to get knowing people who are a little different from you. Maybe people who have different backround or race, or culture than you!
