1st question) I already have one kicker mono amp that has 1000w RMS. and two Boston acoustic subs G5 10inch. Im thinking about buying another kicker amp. But i wanna make sure that my subs wont get blown?

Does anyone no for sure.?

The Boston G5 max RMS are 450 each sub...

The 1000watt kicker amp has 1000 rms...

the amp shows 1000watts X 1 channel X 2ohms!!

2. question) But my subs are 4ohms each. How can i bridge them so they are 2ohms each, so i can have 500 rms going to one sub and 500rms going to the other?

  1. im not too high on this info man but if it helps there are some amps already set up for the bridge. and if your gonna put all those subs in there your gonna need more than one amp. it all depends on the watts. and ohms if the kicker says 4 ohms you can go ahead and set it up with the two ohm one channel amp but it will not fulfill the potential of the sub. you got to set the ohms of the sub to the ohms of the amp. and that is what will make it to its highest potential. not sure if it helped out too much man but thats all i got
