My first time taking the SAT, I got a 1710 and then recieved a 1780 the second time.

Should i take it again to try for a higher score? Or is this score good?

  1. Scholarships don't always have a lot to do with SAT scores.  You'll have to fill out a FAFSA and other forms, depending on the college--very often financial need is more important than grades, etc.,  in determining scholarship money.

Honestly, since they added the writing component, I don't know what a good SAT score is anymore. But it seems that your scores put you in about the 72nd to 78th percentile.

  2. I'm not sure because each scholarship provider has different requirements. Maybe you can try to go to

    http://www.all-about-scholarship.com

    it's about scholarships information.

    Good luck

  3. Hello how are you? What I suggest that you do is use a scholarship search. A scholarship search allows you to create a profile and receive information for all the scholarships that you are eligible to apply for based on your profile description, for example: a scholarship for a student who is an expecting mother. Scholarshipsupport.com actually has 2 free scholarship searches available right now. Also you may be able to find a grant on their site as well. I hope this helps. Good Luck!
