Will i still go to heaven if i have an abortion?

im only 16 and my parents know. my mom thinks i should keep it while my dad says i should have an abortion and not have to move schools and keep playing softball.

well if you cant take care of it, don't have an abortion you should put the child up for adoption.

I think you should listen to your mom and keep it... Cuz I don't really think that abortion is okay... Unless you are raped... But, i don't know if you are so yea... Keep It

do whatever makes YOU happy, not what your parents think because if you do something your don't want to YOU will be the one regretting it for the rest of your life.

I think you will still go to heaven, God cares more about how you treat people living on this Earth than things that are unborn. Everything that happens is a part of his plan anyway!

Please do not bring a child into the world if you are not ready to give him/her everything he/she needs to have a healthy childhood.

no you will not go to heaven if you have an abortion because you are killing a living thing. but if you do choose to get one God may forgive you if you try to repent your sin. i would not personally get one i hate it when people act like its ok to kill their baby and just forget about it for the rest of your life. You obviously don't go to church so i don't get why you are even worried about making it into Heaven if you don't go to church.

It's not a "choice". . .it's a  C-H-I-L-D!  If you don't think you can, in the long-run, take care of it. . .then let some loving person(s) adopt it.

Maybe the child you're carrying will ultimately have the cure for cancer!  A future president of the United States!  If nothing else. . .IT IS A HUMAN BEING!  Thank goodness your mother didn't abort YOU!  Right?!?

you should first read the book "someone like you" by sarah dessen. its one of my favorites. I think you should keep the baby, but if you cant take care of it, give it up for adoption. God knows that you didn't have an abortion just because you wanted to, but if you had an abortion, that is still taking away a life that could have lived. That's killing, and that is against the Ten Commandments.

watch the movie juno. It is funny and will help you with your problem.

Ask god to forgive you, if you are truly concerned, he will definetly forgive you. And you will find happiness when it is your time to go.

A baby is a huge responsibility, and if you think you can't handle that right now, abortion might be best.

God loves all his children no matter what. Despite what some people say, he will understand if you have to send your baby to heaven to sit beside him until you're ready to call him back down to you.

Personally as a woman I think your dad is being a schmo. It is your body. I think a baby is more important than a softball game. What is that c**p! I would consider all options including adoption. This is not the end of the world. Be strong.

As far as going to heaven or not, none of us can tell you that. Listen to what your heart tells you. Its called faith. You could also call Planned Parenthood, great christian organization, very bias and will help you personally make a decision without pressure. Your parents are too emotional about this. It is your decision.

Juno is a great movie, its funny and it makes light of the situation wihout saying that teen pregnancy is a mortal sin.

I'm a pregnant teen,and I also got a whole lot of different advice.You need to decide for yourself-if you make a decision based on someone Else's opinions and influence you will regret it later on.And I honestly can't tell you what will happen to you once you die-no one knows that for sure.It also depends on your faith and belief.Obviously if you are a christian,for instance,it will be wrong in God's eyes to have an abortion.

I hope you make the right choice that is best for you and the life that you have created.

Yep. But give it up for adoption. You will still give that baby life and a chance at life.

God will know your sorry if you give up something like a baby because you cared about it so much to give it the right chance at life.

if you're pretty early in your pregnancy and you dont want the baby, then i would think about abortion dont bring a baby in the world if you're not ready. and you honestly ask for god's forgivness then you will get into heaven (there's no such thing as a perfect person and everyone makes mistakes). ask yourself do you want to go through 9 monthsof a baby growing inside of you and then labor. but i've heard that abortions can be uncomfortable, ask about differnt options.
