Will i still land a job in aviation? if....?

if i did'nt take a degree?

and just get my CPL w/ instrument?

what kind of pilot will i be?

You may be able to get a job on the ground.

I would suggest that you get as much schooling, all certificates and degrees as possible. ALL the major airlines are currently laying off or have plans to layoff many of their employees in just a few months. That means there will be many more highly qualified pilots looking for jobs in the same market as you. In order for you to compete you need to be as qualified or "as good" as you can be!
