Will iTunes music work on a Zune?

I like buying iTunes music, but am thinking of getting a new mp3 (considering Zune). Will it work?

Good question.

First of all, you can't use the iTunes program with the Zune. Second of all, purchased iTunes music doesn't work directly with the Zune.

Just buy the 30 songs with that iTunes gift card, burn those songs to CD, and then put the CD back in and rip them to mp3s with the Zune software to sync them to the Zune.
