  1. Yes.  You are taking in too few calories.

Your body will go into starvation mode.  When you eat, food will get stored as fat.  So, you will see an initial drop in weight, then you will start to gain very quickly.

Check with a doctor about a sensible plan that will actually help, not hurt you.

  2. I don't think you will gain weight, but this is a diet high in sodium and sugar (especially if the pasta is not whole grain).  I would add in some lean protein and fiber- both of which will fill you up yet give you long lasting energy.  For example- add an egg into your breakfast with a whole grain English muffin, or add some steel cut oats with that fruit.

Eat that Kashi bar as a snack between lunch and dinner, but have a small lunch that again contains some protein- nuts, chicken, low sugar yogurt.  For dinner, whole grain pasta, add some veggies so you can get rid of the V8, and tomato sauce.  Good luck!

  3. why no protein?

  4. no you def wont gain weight, your not eating much...i would watch how much salt and sugar you take in from the V8 and the fruits your eating in order to avoid water retention.  water retention is what accounts for ups and down in weight on a day to day basis - if you want real results stick to a solid diet of salad and lean protein for a week and then weigh yourself.

  5. execellent!!.....you could add to your lunch menu a progresso soup (160 calories) it will make you feel fuller for longer!

  6. depends on the rest of your daily activity. Exercise is not the only thing that burns calories. Sitting at your computer asking this question burns calories. You need to look at ALL calories in vs. ALL calories burned. "A glass" tells me nothing. "A small bowl" tells me nothing.

  7. That doesn't sound like very much food at all. Plus, it sounds fairly healthy, so I would say no. You should probably eat a little more or your body will go into starvation mode and start storing fat, which is never a good thing...your body needs at least 1200 calories daily if your a women, even more if your a male.
