  1. If the life insurance policy is past the contestable period - 2-3 years in most states, and there's no suicide exclusion, yes.


  2. No...period...also won't pay if you die in the commission of a felony, so if someone were to ever be thinking about "suicide by cop", that won't work either....

  7. Normally they have a clause that states they will not pay life insurance if the death is ruled suicidal. Most insurance companies will not pay.
