I am 25 from California. I drove my friend's car alone with instruction permit issued by DMV. Unfornuately I got a minor accident which I am not at-fault.

Will the insurance company cover the damage on my friend's car? No one injured.

  1. Possibly not, your an illegal driver.  Insurance contracts have certain stipulations in regards to drivers.  Plus, the other party can come after you for damages.  If your friend still owes a financial institution on their vehicle, you may be approached to repair that vehicle also if the claim is denied.

Why would you put a 'friend' in that position?
