Will it be hard to find a cheap hair straightener in London?

Hi, I live in the US. I'm going to London for three weeks in August. I don't want to bother with an electrical converter just so I can straighten my hair. I'm not sure where I will be staying or what stores will be near me. I know grocery stores and probably drugstores will be easily accessible.

Will it be hard for me to find a cheap but okay hair straightener in London? Remington is a cheap and good brand so I will be looking for that. Could I find one at Heathrow Airport maybe?

Thank you.

  1. Um...we are a civilised nation - we do have shops.

The best straightners are FUTURA. order them online on ebay (obviosly order for British electric point).

Get it delivered to your home in US ansd pop it in your case before you leave, they're about £20.00 but they are brilliant, hope this helps.

  2. Yes you'll be able to find them no problem,

    and Remington ones too..

You will probably find some at Heathrow but they won't be the cheapest price you can get.

Drugstores to look out for are superdrug and boots ..

Big supermarkets such as Tesco, Asda and Sainsburys will also have them at quite a nice price.

    Or even Wilkinsons ..

  3. There any PLENTLY of Argos stores in London, you can find them almost anywhere. Check this link out and see what you like. You can buy online or have it reserved so you can pick it up from a place closer to you. Hope it helps.
