ok so yea. when i filled out my fafsa i told them that i was going to attend full time...so when i registered for my classes for this summer i picked two classes a total of 7 credits..so i checked my e-mail yesterday and found out they awarded me 2155.. i thought that was the amount for full time?. or what is full time for the summer?.and is it the same for most schools.?.

n e wayz i was wondering could my financial aid be reduced since i dont have 12 credit hours??!?!?!...i hope no because i stopped going to work just to attend full time & i have bills....

  1. Your financial aid will be reduced. The 2155 is the amount for full time but they will recheck with the college and once they find out you are only registered for 7 credits, that number will be chopped in half.


  2. Full time in the summer is only 6 credits generally.  But your amount will still be cut in half since 6 credits is cheaper than 12.

  3. If you are registering for the summer classes, that is different. Are you taking them in the summer or fall? If it is in the summer, I'm not sure which year it falls under. If it is for the fall, yes, the aid will be cut. You need to go talk to the financial aid office.
