Will it break a one room air conditioner to leave it on 64 degrees every night?

  2. "Break" it, no.  The compressor and fan motor are designed for continuous duty.  Running it at a lower temperature simply means the compressor runs longer.

    However the more time the compressor runs, the shorter the life.  But, as a typical ac unit will last for 10 years or more, it's hardly worth considering

  3. No it will not damage the unit provided the unit is operating correctly. However it will certainly run up you electric bill

It could cause damage if there are any air flow problems and your coils are freezing.  The fact that it runs constantly would never give it a chance to defrost.  If all conditions are perfect with your system then it probably should run OK.  Design conditions for most AC systems are to hold a 75° room temperature on a 95° day.
