  1. First: check in with your doc about the swelling... i experienced some when i was pregnant, and ended up having Preeclampsia :(.... very dangerous....

You should still drink water, but try to keep your feet up as much as possible at nhight and throughout the day as well.... this is very important.....

    goodluck

  2. I've been told that it helps. Drinking more water makes you pee more thus flushing the fluid out of your system. Also, if you've been sitting for a while it helps to get up and walk and vice versa if you've been standing for a while. Unfortunately I've tried everything and it hasn't helped so I'm sure it's different for everyone. My swollen ankles decide when they want to go down regardless of what I do :) Good luck!!

  3. The more water you drink the less swelling you will have is what they say.  Try to cut back on your salt intake, and put your feet up more.

  4. Unfortunately, no it won't help the swelling by drinking more water. The good news is that swelling usually is water your body builds up and will disappear after you give birth. You have to drink a lot of water since you are pregnant but I know it is hard because it just increases your water weight and swelling. I am sorry! Good luck!

  5. yes, lots of water and stay away from the salt.

  6. It will help...or so I've been told.  Good luck!

*Reducing salt intake and drinking more water are what my doctor suggested.

  7. the only thing that made me swell up was salt

  8. nooo you definitly need to keep drinking water that is the most important thing you dont want early contractions due to dehydration.. my feet started swelling bad too.. and my midwife told me to lay down, and elevate my feet.. it helps alot

  9. Drinking water helps the swelling because believe it or not, the more water you intake, it suprisingly helps your body retain less water!
