  1. I would call your lender & make sure that they are aware. Most banks give a grace period, but you should really try not to take advantage of that.

  2. yea

  3. It hurts you ONLY if you do it every month. One or two times does not hurt yoy

  4. Mortgages typically are due on the 1st but give you 15 days grace period before you incur late fees.  So if you're payment is due on the first, there is absolutely no problem if you pay on the 2nd.

Lenders don't report late payments to the credit bureau till they are at least 30 days late.

  5. no, you might have to pay a late fee

it will only affect your credit if you are over 30 days late

  6. Generally not.  Usually mortgage companies have a grace period.  If you want to know for sure what your banks policy is regarding late payments, you're going to have to ask them.

  7. No, it should be fine.  You can also call your bank and ask that they let it slide if you aren't in the habit of doing it.  Even so, one late payment should not have an effect.  Most banks also give you a few days of leeway.

  8. Being 1 day late is no big deal. The only problem is you are charged 1 day of add'l interest. It's called per-diem.

  9. I don't think so. I believe most lenders give you a 15 day grace period. Maybe you could call them and tell them that your payment will be one day late. They will note that in the system, and it might make you look better if you called rather than just paying it late.
