  1. Not in the short term....   Kerosene is the same as #1 Diesel fuel or commercial jet "A".

The only problems you will find over a long period of time is Kerosene has very little parafin wax in it, so it has not go the lubrication ability for the injectors that #2 has.  It also does not create the same amount of horsepower that #2 does, so your fuel economy will drop as well.

If you live in a cold climate, most fuel is "blended" in the winter time to keep it from "gelling".  What is blended with #2 diesel fuel is #1 diesel (aka Kerosene), so no, in short term usage of kerosene, you will not hurt your engine, but you will notice a decline in fuel economy and power.

    Good luck,

  2. It was build for diesel> Not kerosene>I tryed Bio fuel smoked & lost 2 miles to the Gal>

  3. kerosene is really just high grade diesel oil. So if you get your hands on some i think it will run okay. I ran out of gas one day and put heating oil in the car,,it ran rough but it ran---it was a while ago--1960's.

But a diesel  on kerosene will most likely clean all the carbon out  of the valve lifters---a good thing.
