Will it hurt your cat to feed it cream and mushroom soup?

I only feed him a little bite like a small spoon full,he is maybe 4 or 5 months old

There was just an article in the Cat Fancy about this, this advice is what the vet said. The vet said that small amounts are not harmful. But you do not want to feed your cat large amount of any type of dairy product (cream). Cats become more lactose intolerant as they become older. It's hard for a cat to digest a lot of dairy product, it could make them have diarrhea. Small amounts are safe, so it sound like the spoonful you feed the cat is just fine.

no they love soup and especially because its creamy.mine also love tomato and chicken soup,they are 15,16 and 17 now so its never hurt them.
