Will it mess my car up if i take the radio out?

I have a 2006 pontiac gto, and i was going to get a new cd player installed. But, someone told me that if i take the blapunkt system out, it could mess my car up.

Some newer model cars have other features int he radio like navigation systems, Xm radio or OnStar. They use the memory and computing power in the radio and if you remove it it can make these features useless. It's also important to know that some of the features might be connected to other parts and by deleting the radio there could be other minor annoying problems. You should consult an installer in your area to find out.

No it will not ubless you tear it out. And unplug the wires in back of the radio. Then you need to get proper adapter hook it up without cutting wires.
