  1. just don't wake them at night when they sleep or at day hours.  I read this will shorten their lives, but not your moving him.

  2. um no!

  3. No, it won't shorten your hamster's life in any shape or form; he might just be a little grumpy in the morning.

It would also be easier to just put him in the carrying case, rather than the normal cage, so that in the morning, you won't have to bother him that much (besides moving around, but that's fine).

Okay, its just weird of me, but I'm under the impression that you want to take your hamster to this UxBridge place, but not in a cage...that's not recommended at all; you could easily lose your hamster if you were to do so, and it can be extremely stressful because of temperature changes (from room to room, or from outside to inside), and noises; you certainly don't want to be holding a hamster the entire time you're there. It would be better to just leave him at home.

  4. no, but be careful as you wake him.  Hamsters jump to defense mode when startled out of sleep.

  5. No... but do it gently so he won't get a heart attack.

  6. No it will not shorten his life.

    Good Luck!

  7. nope not at all =]
