Will it take JR. Motorsports failing for people to realize that it can happen to anyone?

Just last night there was a question that said "How do you feel about DEI selling out" or something along those lines. Now today it seems that Dale Jr. maybe be shutting down, too. People felt the need to trash on Teresa Earnhardt for being "a bad business lady"...if Jr. Motorsports go's down what will that make Jr? In a bad economy it can happen to anyone no matter how much money you have or what your last name is.

Maybe DEI will buy them out to save them.

If not for Teresa there would be no DEI and the Intimidator wouldn't be half a s big a legend as he is remembered as. She was the business brains behind the company, Dale was the driving brains. Then he croaked and went to h**l, now the business brain is still there but the company needs more driving brain. Guess it's a good thing spoiled brat Junior left LOL!

Huh? Dale Jr. is racing for the Hendrick Motorsports team. He left DEI because of conflict with his stepmother over the price that it would cost him to purchase the company from her. She wanted too much and he said stick it and quit.

Those people apparently just see a headline and don't read the content.  I agree with you.  DEI is not even close to going out of business.  Word has it that Theresa has had enough with the ridicule.  Yes the woman that made their hero Sr into a super hero.  The woman that created Daytona USA and marketed SRs name for everyone to wear all the junk they still buy today.  Its ashame they don't understand the other side of the situation she was in with JR.  Its a pity.

JR Motorsports isn't going down the drain, they are just loosing ONE sponsor, the NAVY. Its not like they're shutting down their team. And with people knowing that its Junior's team and great exposure, they will most likely hop on and sponsor JR Motorsports. Dude, seriously this is ONE car, ONE sponsor. Its not like Junior can't get another. And they are funded by Hendrick so they basically have an unlimited amount of money.

i feel sorry for anyone who is loosing something right now...... poor Jr.... the only good thing about Jr he will still have his head held high.....!

and i know it can happen to anyone that is what makes me so sad and un happy......! don't want to see any fan or driver or team owner struggling!

it aint nothing nowhere that states Jr motorsports is shutting down

navy just wont be the sponsor

it will be plenty of sponsors just waiting to jump on the hood of that car

I really don't think JRM's going to have to much of a problem finding a sponsor for the 88. I mean h**l the 5 car alone has got 4 (NG,Delphi,GoDaddy, and Lowes) primary sponsors and I think if push came to shove it would be a simple matter of moving one over to the 88. Then again ATT wants to stay in NASCAR, but can't stay in Cup, so they go to NNS at a lower rate even.

Wow, I haven't heard about Jr motorsports. That is crazy. To me it became very real that any team could struggle when Roush sold part of his team to the Fenway group. That is very interesting. Could you possibly add the link to the site you read that on?

The only thing I read is that Navy will not be sponsoring the 88 car next year,  that means he will just have to go find aNother sponser,  he will do it.
