Will it work if i hooked my laptop up to my car amp using the cord that has the 1/8 jack and 2 rca cables?

and will i get sound through my speaker or what? please help.

it will work just probably not enough power going through the aux out jack to give you enough sound. the rca's on the back of stereos are pre-amp outs which has anywhere from 2-4 volts running through them so like i said theres not enough voltage running through a 1.5mm jack

yeah it will work, the only thing is you might have some issues ajusting the volume.but you might not.
