why do you want him to return, Cole and King are doing a great job. Cole doesnt get as much credit as he is due.

Watch Smackdown then!

Smackdown is miles better than boring raw now, i hope jim ross stays to make smackdown the new flagship show

Probably not. SMACKDOWN needed a more seasoned announcer than what was provided by Michael Cole. The main reasoning behind this is Jim Ross can actually call a match by himself and does not need prompting or 'hand-holding' from a partner or Sports Commentator.

There also may have been a 'pull' from Triple H for JR on SMACKDOWN as his commentary on the Game's matches are notable.
