  1. My personal feeling is that he does not get in the Hall of Fame.  He was not a great defensive player, he has power numbers but also has some lagging in his numbers....he may still get in for hitting old milestones that i think are outdated.

  2. I would have to say yes Jim Thome will get into the hall of fame.

  3. yes he will...looks ta his career stats

    2017hits/ 393 doubles/ 24triples /531hr/ 1466 rbi

    can you say HOF

  4. He does have some decent stats, but is a .280 lifetime avg good enough?  I think the vote will be close on him though

  5. Well he has 500 home runs and thats a straight ticket to Cooperstown, but since he has played most of his career as DH you never know, he might not inducted.

  6. I hope Not.

  7. It is almost certain Jim Thome will be in the Hall Of Fame.

  8. It all depends on the speculation of the voters.  Are they picking and choosing who they think used steroids or are they saying that none of the sluggers of the steriod era get in.

I would guess that if McGwire is not in, Thome doesn't get in.  But he has not had the finger pointed at him yet.  So if the voters decide he didn't use he might get in.

Personally I would vote for him.  The best of the Era should get in.

  9. Probably i'd say he has a 50 50 chance.

  10. probably

  11. 24 people have hit 500 hrs. 5 are still active, Thome, Griiffey, A rod Thomas and Manyy, the other 20 are in the HOF, and so will these 5 AND gary sheffield when he hits 500, he is at 492 right now

    THOME, HOFer

  12. doubt it. hes a lifetime DH that sucks at 1st base and has been on steroids for along time.  hes a great role model isnt he lol

  13. no, he sucks buldge. he hasnt even played in a Major league game yet!

you have to get outta the minors before you can be inducted...................................

  14. No he won't. If he doesn't hit a HR, he grounds out. Not a lot of hits, hasn't made any impact to any team reaching the playoffs. He doesn't deserve to be in the HOF.
