  1. Well without a rope you won't be able to develop good hands-feet coordination as well as timing.  Also, jump roping (w/ a rope) provides a full body workout and is the only cardio workout, that I know of, that actually forces you to think.  There is also an incentive factor to keep jumping since you need to actually jump over the rope and not have the rope give you a nasty whip.


  2. one would think so as long as its the same movements and everything but alas im no proffesional so your guess is as good as mine

  3. Umm..nope.  With a rope is a lot better.  Because without a rope, you can jump at your own pace, but with a rope, you now have an agenda.  It forces you to jump every so much seconds.

    The swinging of the rope itself will also help you build up arm strength.
