Will jumping out of a vehicle and hitting the ground at 90mph?

As to the speed, NO.

I don't think so, because the baseball bat is only hitting one small part of you, but when you hit the ground from a car, all of you is going 90mph and all of the ground is going 0mph. The force of stopping will be spread throughout your body, but if hit by a baseball bat, the force will be entirely in one part of your body, while the rest of your body is 0mph. So the baseball bat will be like tearing you in two different directions.

If the baseball bat is the same size as your entire body, maybe.

Jumping out of a vehicle will result in multiple collisions as your body slows to 0mph.  The body sized baseball bat will result in only one hit.

The likely result of both scenarios?  Death.

No, because the baseball bat would hit one part of your body.  The damage would be where ever it hit.  If you jump at 90 you will roll, slide, and involve your entire body in blunt force trauma.

I'd suggest you not try it.

Yeah, it's different, depending where you live.  In some states (such as California), it's illegal to jump from a vehicle travelling greater than 65 mph ... so you'll get a ticket.

So, go ahead and knock yourself out with a baseball bat.

No; I would rather be hit by the bat; I think it would be much more survivable. In the car scenario, you would take the initial 90 mph hit all over your body, then you would roll, taking multiple lesser hits, until you stopped.
