Will just juice start your metabolism in the morning?

Ok so they say you should eat breakfast to start your metabolism, would it start your metabolism any better than having nothing i have a glass of cranberry juice just the juice does it start my metabolism?

  1. It does, yes, but having some light and healthy foods alongside the juice like say crackers with ham and cottage cheese, and some sliced bananas for energy etc, would boost your metabolism even more.

    By and by, cranberry juice is great for detox and expelling excess water from the body if you're suffering from water retention, so good for you that you like it!


  2. Yes, but try warm water with a squeeze of lemon. One of the best things is to eat grapefruit first thing.

  3. Metabolism is different from digestion. Drinking juice is just like the food we eat. Yes it has something to do with metabolism through its sugar contents and vitamins. Juice is not a starter for metabolism.  When you eat food, you digest your food and it  goes into a process transforming the food we eat into sugar. Specific proteins in the body control the chemical reactions of metabolism, and each chemical reaction is coordinated with other body functions. In fact, thousands of metabolic reactions happen at the same time - all regulated by the body - to keep our cells healthy and working.

  5. I drink coffee in the mornings and get a rush but i dont feel hungry for a couple hours so i think juice may do the same thing.

  6. Yep. But remember breakfast should be the biggest meal of the day as you've more time to burn off the calories.
