Will light scratches on my xbox 360 games affect gameplay

i have a hitachi drive and i am a bit concerned about my games getting lightly scratched

this wont affect your gameplay that much. if there are alot of minor scraches covering up your disc then..yea.......it wont work.

By owning about 60 games, light scratches dont affect gameplay too much, but large scratches or a huge ring around the disk ( from moving xbox while disk is inside) will cause the game not to work at all, so its best to look after your games carefully, and they arnt cheap either, but it is possible to get disks repaired ( 5 pounds) so i wouldnt worry at all ;)
