  1. a mac operating system works exclusively only on apple pcs and macs. so i don't think so it will work..

  2. Without a bunch of hacks no.  If you wanted a mac you should have bought a mac.

  3. The answer is kinda but not without messing around. http://www.osx86project.org/ this is to get it running on a pc. It depends on your hardware. The closest your going to get most likely is running ubuntu and you can make it look identical http://maketecheasier.com/turn-your-ubun... hope that helps. Good Luck!

  4. Since mac is now Intel based. Most modern PCs have the hardware which could support Mac OS but with a few bugs. The main problem is that stated in the Mac OS licence it should not be used on any other hardware than Apple. Talk about co-operate greed.

  5. No. OS X is designed only to work on Apple machines. That's the short answer.

It is possible to get it working on a PC but you will need around $800 in parts, a $150 copy of Leopard, a very good knowledge of OS X and hardware, and lot of time to tinker with things. It's very tricky, and unless you like doing that sort of thing a total waste of time contrary to the whole point of "easy use" that OS X is supposed to be known for. But you won't be able to do that on a prefab low end desktop like an emachine.
