Will mail be delivered to an abandoned house?

if someone sent mail to a house that was unoccupied would it still get there? or would it be sent to the landlords house?

If the mailman knows the house is vacant, mail won't be delivered.  It will be held at the post office for a certain period and then returned to sender.

It kinda sounds to me like you are trying to use somone elses credit card, classic move so that you dont get caught.

If the postman has figured out that the place is abandoned they'll start holding the mail at the post office.

Unless a change of address card was filed, it will be mailed to the abandoned house.

A mailman will not knowingly deliver mail to a vacant house and will never hand mail over to an unknown person even if the house.is occupied.
